Clicking here will take you to a Padlet where my students posted paragraph summaries they wrote explaining why the Sunni and Shia Muslims split into 2 different groups. This activity was great for peer review and self-editing.
Clicking here will take you to a padlet wall where my students posted photos they took of illustrated timelines they created in class.
This Padlet wall shows differentiated product. Students were able to select a tech tool of their own choosing to demonstrate mastery comparing and contrasting Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. PicCollage, Videolicious, StoryRobe, and Skitch were popular choices.
This Padlet wall shows grouping based on pre-test data combined with differentiated products. Students were put into groups and assigned specific topics based on their pre-test data.
This Padlet wall is another example of the last description. The wallpaper came from the Haiku Deck App and some students decided to use an App to draw their Venn Diagram.
So much fun! The last day of school we made Memes and uploaded them to a farewell wall. The students had so much fun and there were lots of digital citizenship teachable moments. Memes could work for content areas too!
